2007 Piecemakers quilt, "This One's For the Birds"
Photos of the 2007 Piecemakers quilt that was made for and donated to the Akwesasne Freedom School including the names of people who helped make it.
This quilt is made up of 18 rectangles of various sizes and shapes assembled in a large rectangle. Twenty-one people helped make it to donate to the Akwesasne Freedom School's annual Quilt Auction fundraiser. On the back of the quilt is a label that looks like a birdhouse. It contains a "map" that shows who made which block and the name of the bird that is represented.
