Piecemakers 2008 "Sun Sisters" quilt

In 2008, Marie Girard made a quilt called "Sun Sisters" (in the name of the Piecemakers) to donate to the Akwesasne Freedom School for their annual fundraising quilt auction.

This wall-hang size quilt is a rectangle within a double frame. Pictured in the center are three Native women in traditional attire standing in front of the sun.
