1998 Piecemaker's Quilt: "Unity in Diversity: Symbols of Indigenous Peoples of the World"
Photos of the 1998 "Unity in Diversity: Symbols of Indigenous Peoples of the World" quilt. This was the first quilt that the Piecemakers made and donated to the Akwesasne Freedom School.
The 1998 quilt consisted of 19 rectangular blocks of various shapes and sizes. It had a sleeve on the back to make it possible to hang. The sleeve was signed by all of the quilters.
