Piecemakers 2005 quilt donated to the Akwesasne Freedom School, "Celebrations"
This folder contains two photos of the 2005 "Celebrations" quilt that was made by the Piecemakers and was donated to the Akwesasne Freedom School.
In 2005, the Piecemakers made two "Celebrations" quilts. This one was donated to the Akwesasne Freedom School. The other one was donated to Kanatsiohareke for their fundraiser. This quilt has nine circular blocks of various sizes randomly sewn onto a large blue rectangle. The background rectangle has what looks like fireworks and bubbles on it.
The woman holding the quilt on the right is the Piecemakers founder, Christine Krug.
